Diagnosing and Treating Whiplash

Whiplash Symptoms

Symptoms of whiplash include neck and back stiffness and pain, headaches and difficulty moving the head and neck. Most people do not experience symptoms until 24 to 48 hours later, and some people do not experience symptoms until months later. This is because when whiplash occurs, the neck loses its curvature. Over time, the pain does not go away. In fact, the pain and damage become worse as the year progress.
