Hi, I’m Allan DellaBella, I’m a chiropractor in Boca Raton, Florida. For those of you that know me, please excuse the attire you usually see me in a shirt and tie. I’m not seeing patients this afternoon, therefore the polo.

The reason for today’s video is to talk to you about treating patients in a world in which there is a pandemic like the current virus. I want to take you through a typical patient walk-through our office for a typical visit.

When you get to the office, you’ll call us up or come in. When you come in, you’ll have your temperature taken at the front desk. You can either choose to sit in our waiting room in which we’ve reduced the amount of chairs, or you can sit outside in your car, or you can just take a stroll by the lake, it’s only usually a few minutes before you’re called in.

When you come into the office, rest assured everything in the office is sanitized numerous times a day. All of our tables, after each patient use, are cleaned with barbicide. Barbicide is hospital-strength cleaner that kills viruses and bacteria, and it is so strong it literally kills the AIDS virus. The door handles, the chairs, the arms, everything in the office is cleaned.

The office staff is wearing gloves and masks. Our patients are required to wear a mask, don’t worry should you come to a visit and have forgotten your mask we will provide you with a mask.

Everything that we’re doing is to ensure a properly safe environment for you. We have about 15 employees in our office, we have been lucky – and it’s not just lucky, it’s a point of being thorough. By cleaning the office so much, nobody here has contracted the virus sine the outbreak started in March, and we intend to keep it that way.
